Create and upload your first web page
- Build a very simple index.html page on your n: drive
- Make a directory bad220web somewhere on your n: drive
- Start notepad and we will create a page in class
- Save your work as file name index.html in your bad220web directory
- Access your work with a web browser
- Use Dreamweaver to update and upload your page
- Start Dreamweaver - skip registration (don't ask again)
- Define your site
- See http://www.dombsb.com/bad220/ to get your id (snn)
- Use Dreamweaver Site Create
- ftp server is www.northshorechoral.com
- your user id is snn@northshorechoral.com (nn=01 or 02,...)
- your password is given in class
- your local site folder is your bad220web directory
- your sitename is anything you choose
- Make a trivial change to your index.html page in your bad220 web directory
- Change the page
- Upload your changed page using Site / Put
- Look at your page on the World Wide Web!
